Our Mission

Amana Initiative helps Muslim students navigate the challenges they face on campus as a result of Quebec’s religious and secularism laws.

Our goal is to help you, as a Muslim student, know your rights, understand your options, and navigate campus without having to choose between your education and your faith.

Whether you face restrictions related to religious clothing, prayer, religious activities, or other aspects of your faith, Amana provides clear information and resources to help you find practical alternatives and continue your education while practicing your religion safely and freely.
